One of the greatest historical resources in a city is its newspaper. The papers of a journalist provide insight into how the news is communicated, as well as the response of the public to what is printed in the paper.
This exhibit documents the transformation of Jim Jones as a journalist — from student to columnist to special contributor. Jones wrote for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram from 1957 - 2015. His archives collection illustrates the adage, “everything old is new again,” as many of his articles cover the same societal issues that make headlines today.
This exhibit will be on display in the West Wing until June 28, 2018.
