In celebration of Dallas Arts Month, the Dallas Arts District is hosting this enriching community party with a full schedule of excitement at the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House. Dallas' Skyline High School Band kicks off the festivities with an energetic performance followed by Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts' Gospel Choir. Throughout the evening, there will be performances from community organizations and special guest artists, and headlining the event will be Strange Fruit, Australia’s renowned company that produces and performs a remarkable style of work that fuses theatre, dance and circus atop 15-foot sway poles! It promises to be a dazzling show, so mark your calendar for the “Changing Perspectives” Block Party.
